Our annual Robert Burns Banquet was a smashing success, thanks in no small part to the incredible “toast to the immortal memory” delivered by Mr. John Archer. John was a dormfather for two years with such legends as Luke Culley, John Burger, and Fr. Matthew Schultz. John completed his undergraduate studies at Christendom College and his graduate work at Catholic University of America. He lives with his beautiful family in Hyattsville, MD, and we were honored to welcome the whole crew as our guests for the weekend. John’s reflection on his time at St. Gregory’s in relation to the modern understanding of what is real or important should not be missed.
